Picking the right colours is a huge part of nailing a design – whether it be graphic design or web design.
Luckily Google is here to help.
As we wrote about earlier this month Google is expanding the use of ‘mobile-friendliness’ as a ranking signal to determine where a site should sit in its search results. This shift in philosophy is due to kick into effect on the 21st of April.
As we continue to further integrate smartphones and tablets into our daily lives, the way that we consume information is also continuing to change. These days people are just as likely to be surfing the web on their phone as they wait for their morning coffee as they are to be at a desktop. Google has recognised this shift in behaviour and has announced that from the 21st of April 2015 it will be expanding the use of ‘mobile-friendliness’ as a ranking signal. The changes are outlined here in the official Google Webmaster blog.
